Practices Of Occupational Health And Safety Management Case Of Bole-lemi Industrial Park

The main purpose of this study was to examine the practice of occupational safety and health inrnBole-Lemi industrial park. The researcher used management of organizational safety and healthrnprogram, employee participation, employee training, hazard identification, hazard preventionrnand control issues, program evaluation and improvement and implementation of organizationalrnsafety and health as an organizational safety and health dimensions to examine the practicalrnimplantation of occupational safety and health of employees in the study area. The research isrndescriptive research. In this research random and purposive sampling techniques was applied tornget appropriate representative sample from the population and for triangulation purpose. Thernresearcher collected data from Bole-Lemi industrial park through self-administeredrnquestionnaire and interview. One hundred forty-four respondents and eight managerialrnpersonnel’s were formed the sample size of the study. The collected data was analyzed usingrnstatistical package for social science (SPSS) version 1.0. The descriptive statistics and inferentialrnstatistics (correlation) were used to describe demographic characteristics of respondent and tornanswer research questions.
