Promotion Of Entrepreneurial Skills And Abilities Development Role Of Community Based Education In Jimma University.

This research was conducted with main objective of measuring the impact of Community BasedrnEducation (CBE) in the development of entrepreneurial qualities. As entrepreneurship is the keyrnfor economic development of nations, the study has revealed the directional pressure ofrnCommunity Based Education (CBE) on the development of entrepreneurial qualities in the casernof Ji 111 111 a University. The study measures the role of CBE in strengthening one's ability and skillrnto scan the environment, take risk, value others idea , work in team and so on, which can berngeneralized as to measure the impact of CDE in strengthening the development of entrepreneurialrnqualities. The research has considered graduates from three faculties- Medicine, Technology andrnBusiness and Economics - to realize the objectives of the study.rnThe result of this research has revealed that CBE has a positive impact lip on the development ofrnentrepreneurial qualities and hence entrepreneurship. But with suggestions Jar furtherrnimprovement so as to get optimal return from the designed program with regard to promotion ofrnentrepreneurial skills and abilities.
