Background: Despite of highly effective, inexpensive, non-hormonal and immediatelyrnreversible. The acceptance rate of postpartum intrauterine contraceptive device was veryrnlow in developing countries including Ethiopia. Therefore, the goal of the study torndetermined acceptance rate with its associated factors among women who delivered inrnselected public hospitals of Addis Ababa. rnObjective Acceptance rate and associated factors of immediate postpartum intrauterinerncontraceptive device among women who delivered in selected public hospitals of AddisrnAbaba, Ethiopia.rnMethod: - A cross-sectional study design based on an institution was used on 336rnparticipants. Data collectors used a pre-tested and organized questionnaire to collectrninformation. The data was entered into EpiData 4. 6 statistical packages and thenrnexported to SPSS version 25 for further analysis. To assess the relationship betweenrneach independent variable and the dependent variable, bivariate and multivariate logisticrnregression analyses were utilized.rnResult: -The acceptance rate was founded to be a total of 336 participants respondedrn(98.5 %).
