As „green‟ issues continue to become a global concern, assessing organizationalrnperformance from green paradigms perspectives is imperative. The purpose of this study wasrnto assess the green supply chain practice and organizational performance in the case of ethiorntelecom. In order to attain the objectives of the study, mixed approach was entertained. As arnmeans of data collection instrument; questionnaire and structured interview questions werernapplied. The population of the study were 41 employees of ethio telecom, mainly those atrnmanagerial position and responsible either directly or indirectly for the supply chainrnactivities of the company. From a total of 41 questionnaires distributed, only 36 of them wererncorrectly filled and applied in the study, and this revealed a response rate of 88%. Therninterviews were conducted with Compliance and Monitoring Control and Environmental Lawrnand Standards Directorates of the Ministry of Environments and Forest officer andrnCommunication and IT standardization and Regulation Directoratesofficer. In order tornanalyse, interpret and present the data captured via questionnaire,Statistical Package for thernSocial Sciences(SPSS) were used. Both inferential and descriptive analysis methods i.e.,rnpercentage, means, standard deviation, correlation, regression and narrative analysis werernused. With regard to the survey output, with the exception of eco design and operationalrnperformance, though, conducted correlation analysis revealed the existence of statisticallyrnsignificant positive association between the dimensions of green supply chain managementrnand organizational performance, the overall survey result indicate that except investmentrnrecovery, all the dimensions of green supply chain management; organizational commitment,rneco-design, green purchasing, green marketing and environmental practice are poorlyrnthreated by ethio telecom. The regression result also suggested that organizationalrncommitment, eco-design, green purchasing and environmental practice have statisticallyrnsignificant predicting power on organizational performance
