The aim of the present work is to study the abrasive wear behavior of composites made byrnreinforcing bamboo fibers with the addition of PTFE and thermoset resin matrix. The fibersrnare extracted by hand and manual process and the composite samples were prepared to arnmaximum of 30% volume of fiber. Wear tests were carried out in dry conditions on a pin-ondiscrnwhichrnisrnmodifiedrnbyrnmernandrnthernmachinernatrnarnconstantrnslidingrndistancernofrn1000rnmrnwithrnrnslidingrnrnvelocities of 2m/s and 4m/s and normal loads of 15N and 30N. The effect of PTFErncontent on abrasive wear properties of composites were investigated and compared with purernBPC composites made under the similar testing conditions. It is observed that the wear loss ofrncomposites increase with increase of normal load whereas the specific wear rate decreases.rnThe optimum weight loss and specific wear rate for bamboo fiber reinforced composites werernobtained at 30% volume of pure composite.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
