Background: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) was the leading cause of death worldwide resulting in over 7 million deaths in 2010. In 2018 CAD deaths in Ethiopia reached 7.81% of total deaths. Finding studies on CAD and deaths associated with it using risk scores in Ethiopia remains limited. Objectives: To estimate and compare CAD risk of physically active and inactive individuals by using Framingham Risk Score(FRS) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Methods and Materials: A cross-sectional study design was used. A total of 120 participants were included in the study. The participants were selected by a purposive sampling method and classified into two groups based on physical activity status. A face-to-face interview with a structured questionnaire, physical measurement, and blood test was carried out in the data collection. Weight was measured with an electronic weighing scale. Height was measured with a measuring rod attached to the standing surface. Blood pressure was measured with a sphygmomanometer taken from the left upper arm. The biochemical measurement included total and HDL cholesterol. The collected data was entered into SPSS V.25 and analyzed. 𝜌-value (𝜌-value
