Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is commonly associated with vascular complications. Inrnrecent years, there has been renewed interest and increasing evidences that hematological abnormalitiesrncan be used as indicators of endothelial dysfunction and inflammation and thus, are responsible for bothrnmicro- and macro-vascular complications.rnObjective: The aim of the present study was to investigate the average values of Body mass index, BloodrnPressure, hematological profiles and non-enzymatic antioxidants status in Type 2 Diabetic Patients.rnMethods: This study involved 70 patients with T2DM (male/females, 47/23) and 70 age and sexrnmatched non diabetic healthy individuals (male/females, 46/24). The study was conducted fromrnDecember 2016 to January 2017, which was a cross-sectional study. Anticoagulated Blood samples wererncollected from fasting individuals and analyzed in automated blood cell counter.
