Background: Coronavirus infection is a highly contagious disease and affected arnlarge number of people throughout the globe. The total number of deaths caused duernto this virus has exceeded any of its predecessors. The disease is more intense inrnimmune-compromised individuals. rnObjective: To assess the knowledge, risk perception, and prevention practice aboutrnCOVID-19 among patients attending oncology clinic at Tikur Anbessa SpecializedrnHospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2021. rnMethods and materials: Institution- based cross -sectional study design wasrnconducted among adult cancer patients at, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from FebruaryMarch/2021.rnrnA systematic random sampling technique was used to recruit 420rnparticipants. A structured and pretested questionnaire was used to collect the data.rnThe data was entered into Epi_data version 4.2 and analyzed by SPSS version 25rnsoftware. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the variables. The magnitude ofrnthe association between the different independent variables in relation to dependentrnvariables was first measured using bivariate logistic regression.
