Through the time, new and more effective medicines, medical devicesrnand procedures are invented to help doctors, nurses and medical technicians provide the bestrnpossible care and treatments to patientsrnObjective: To assess nurses’ knowledge and utilization of evidence-based practice and itsrnassociated factors in selected hospitals of three zones of SNNPR, South Ethiopia.rnMethods: Facility-based cross-sectional study design was conducted among nurses working inrnselected hospitals of three zones of south region from March 30 to May 1, 2017. 208 BSC nursesrnwere involved in the study. Convenient sampling technique was employed for the study. Selfrnadministered questioner was used to collect data .Data was collected by three trained diplomarnnurses. Descriptive analysis was done. The collected data was entered and analyzed using SPSSrnversion 21 statistical software package. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression was done tornidentify factors that are associated with utilization of EBP. A statistical significance was declaredrnat p value
