In this thesis we study the rst two low lying states of the two-electron quantum dotrnwith parabolic con nement. We use Harmonic oscillation model in spherical coordinatesrndue to its symmetry. With the help variational method, we nd the ground state andrn rst excited state energy correction since the interaction between the two electrons is notrnsmall in nano lengths. We determine the energy as a function of Coulomb interactionrnscale. We calculate numerical values and propose interpolation formula for energies. It isrnfound that the electron-electron interaction a ects not only the energy and the radius ofrnthe quantum dots but also the dielectric constant of the nanostructures
