In this thesis we study the squeezing and statistical properties of the light produced byrna nondegenerate three-level laser, with the cavity modes driven by coherent light. Withrnthe aid of the master equation, we obtain stochastic differential equations. Applying thernsolutions of the resulting differential equations, we calculate the quadrature variance, thernsqueezing spectrum , the mean and variance of the photon number sum and difference.rnFor a linear gain coefficient of 75 and for a cavity damping constant of 0.8, the maximumrnintracavity squeezing is found at steady state and at threshold to be 64%
