The principal objective of the thesis is to show the historical and philologicalrnanalysis on Taytu Betul's Biography. The analysis and translation is based onrnan unknown manuscript discovered at the National Archive and Library ofrnEthiopia. This study incorporates five chapters: chapter one is devoted tornintroduction where the objectives are set, methods explained and thernsignificance of the paper are suggested, chapter two literature reviews, chapterrnthree philological and historical analysis, chapter four texts and its translation,rnand chapter five summary, conclusion and recommendations.
