The fundamental concepts of polarized electrons and thernmathmatical formulations of the scattering of these electronsrnfrom spinnless atoms are reviewed.rnThe Theoretical investigations were made of the'asymmetryrnof the scattering on the surface of Polycrystalline Gold.rnAtomic data for a single scattering process were used tornCalculate Asymmetry and intensity as a functions of thernscattering angle for multiple collisions. The specificrninfluence of a solid was taken into account. The asymmetry ofrnthe scattered electrons into a wide solid angle was calculatedrnand a comparison with some experimental data for the scatteringrnof polarized electrons of energy Ep from 100 to 500 eV wasrnmade.rnSatisfactory agreement ahs obtained beween the rn, "rncalculated and experimental results
