Critical Success Factors For Addis Ababa City Government Housing Construction Projects

The construction industry is dynamic in nature due to the increasing uncertainties inrntechnology, budgets, and development processes. Nowadays, building projects are becomingrnmuch more complex and difficult. The project team is facing unprecedented changes. The studyrnof project success and the critical success factors (CSFs) are considered to be a means tornimprove the effectiveness of project. Effective management of housing construction projects isrnbecoming increasingly important for sustainable housing to remain competitive in today’srndynamic business environment to the satisfaction of the resident of the city government ofrnAddis Ababa. The purpose of this study is to identify a list of success factors significant inrnhousing construction projects and to investigate possible interrelations between success factorsrnin housing construction projects in Addis Ababa. The research findings will be expected tornassist the city government of Addis Ababa responsible organization in evaluating thernperformance of their housing construction project management.
