The paper discusses the concept of Information and its relevance to the society. The mission, mandate and values University library were highlighted. It took stock of what ABU University Library Complex has been and what it is currently; taking note of the advances in ICTs application and compliance to the Library 2.0 and Library 3.0 expectations. It concluded by advocating for the University Administration to deliberately and passionately support the course of the University Library Systems to enable it play its active role of enabler and facilitator in achieving the goals and aspirations of the university and that of all and sundry in the community and beyond.
