AbstractrnBack ground:Globally,cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women with mostrnof the deaths occurring in developing countries, particularly in low- and middle incomerncountries. In Ethiopia, evidences suggested that many women seek treatment in the advancedrnstage of the disease which complicates management and intervention of the disease.Data onrnlevels and factors associated to late stage of diagnosis are limited.rnObjective:To assess the magnitude and factors associated withlate stage at diagnosis of cervicalrncanceramongcervical cancer patients at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa,rnEthiopia from July 22 to October 30, 2020.rnMethods: A facility based cross sectional study was conducted among cervical cancer patientsrnreferred to Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Data was collected usingrna structured interviewer administered questionnaire and patient’s medical records were reviewedrnto extract relevant information.Every consecutive new case of cervical cancer patient who camernduring data collection period were enrolled in the study.Data was codedand entered in to Epidatarn4.64 andexported to Stata 14 for cleaning, recoding and analysis.
