In this study, the mechanical sliding wear and corrosion resistance property of purerncopper (Cu), Cu Ag and Cu Ni Si Cr overhead contact wire were investigated by a pinon-rndisc Tribometer with mechanical and electrochemical Measurement. The copperrnalloys were prepared in the form of pin are forced to slide on stainless steel disc atrntemperature of 28 0c and unlubricated condition at a sliding speed of 80km/hr underrnnormal load up to 100 N without electric current and corrosion test also conducted inrnacid, rain, salt environmental condition and in notch stress. The worn surface of and wearrndebris as well as the corrosion from the specimens were studied by metallurgicalrnmicroscopes and the weight loss measured by analytical balance. Finally, the Cu Ni Si Crrncopper alloy has better wear and corrosion resistance property and also takes lessrnpurchase cost. And the material is recommended for Addis Ababa light rail transitrnoverhead line contact wire.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
