Development-induced displacement has been widely practiced in the major cities of Ethiopia inrnthe last few years. The multi-various impacts of this displacement has not been adequatelyrnexplored and documented thus far. This study attempted to fill in this gap. It tried to examinernpsychological, social and economic impacts, how this possibly impacts compare by selectedrndemographic factors and the relationship among those variables. Participants were displaced inrnAddis Ababa by different reasons, and then relocated to gofa mebrat hail condominiums. Arnsample of 236 adult resettles were used fill in a likert rating scale developed to measure thernimpacts. Findings indicated that there was little awareness about the dislocation and,rnaccordingly, significant impacts were found with regard to psychological, social and economicrnfindings. These impacts were not uniform across participants from different demographicrngroups. Recommendations were given as to address these concerns
