This study was conducted to identify the types and capacity building of services provided inrnfaith based organizations for orphan and vulnerable children specifically at Sebeta ChildrenrnCare Center. One of the concerns in the study was the positive impacts of the services in faithrnbased organizations for the bright future of targeted beneficiaries in enabling to be selfreliantrnbefore they graduate from the center. The researcher used qualitative study methodsrnin order to get better understanding and new insight of the study matters. The Key informantrninterview, in-depth interview and focus group discussant guides were the main instrumentsrnthe researcher used to data collection. The finding of the study indicated that, the existedrninterventions in care and support vulnerable Children are not yet well developed at SebetarnChildren Care Center. The participants of the study included beneficiaries relatives, keyrnstaffs of the Sebeta Children Care Center, Sebeta Town women and Children Affairs andrnbeneficiaries them self. The study attempted to reveal the effectiveness of the services in orderrnto think critically and develops self-managing skill before they graduate from the center.rnResearcher forwarded some recommendations and implications concern effectiveness atrnSebeta Children Care Center in order to improve the services as well as the center shouldrncreate strong relation with other faith based organizations which share similar vision.rnKEYWORDS: Vulnerable children, Service, Effectiveness and Faith based organizations.
