The main purpose of this study was to explore the state of educational provision and prospect ofrnfemale students with visual impairment at Addis Ababa University in the College of Law andrnGovernance. The method used to conduct this study was qualitative research approach withrncase study design. To collect relevant data, semi-structured interview was conducted with sevenrnfemale students with visual impairment among these two of them were fifth year three of themrnwere forth year and two of them were third year students. The interview includes about therneducational provision, accessibility of the information, adaptive technology and challenges facernduring their stay in the university. The head of the college, a teacher, the gender expert, thernteaching learning expert and special needs students‟ support expert were also purposefullyrnselected to participate on the interview in order to get adequate data. The data were analyzedrnthematically. The findings of the study indicated that there were some teachers‟ lackingrnawareness on how to give special support for female students with visual impairment, thernlibraries were not nearby to their dormitory and resent books written on Braille were notrnavailable according to their needs, and also there were only one exam room for all students withrnvisual impairment in the main campus and lack of exam readers at the university who wererntrained for this purpose to support students with visual impairment. At the end based on thernfinding, recommendations have been provided
