The Impact Of Class Size To Teach Football The Case Of Kokebe Tsibah Secondary And Preparatory School Addis Ababa

This study was investigate a study on the problem of football teaching andrnstudent’s interest in kokebetheba preparatory school. The main issuesrnconsidered are students in football activities, student’s interest in footballrnteaching and finally the factor that affects students in football activities. To thisrnend descriptive survey method was employed. Data were gathered from 3rnteachers and 50 students and interview of director. The respondents samplingrnwas carried out through random selection techniques.rnThe data for the study was obtained through questionnaires, interview andrnobservation techniques. Both qualitative and quantitative methods andrnpercentages were used to analyze the data. The result indicated that thernstudents are not interested in the teaching football, lack of encouragement forrnfamily, teachers and other concerned bodies, inadequacy of school facility andrnteaching materials. Therefore it is recommended that depending on the resultrnconcerned bodies such as parents, teachers, Regional and sub-city educationalrnbureau etc have to encourage the students participation in football activities, tornfulfill school facilities, to give equal opportunity like other subject, to providerndifferent services for the students, to involve teachers and curriculum experts inrncurriculum development, to develop the students interest in football activity andrnto give regular counseling for the students on the bases of their performance.rnKey words: qualitative ,. quantitative, descriptive survey
