The main purpose of the study was to investigate the status of club management in Ethiopianrnpremier league football clubs. The target population of the study was football clubs participatingrnin 2013/14 tournament of the Ethiopian Premier League. Out of the target population, 7 footballrnclubs (i.e. 50% of the total participant clubs) were included in the study based on purposivernsampling technique. Participants in this study were management (administration workers),rncoaches, players and medical staff (physiotherapist) of seven football clubs participating inrn2013/14 (2006 E.C) tournament of the Ethiopian Premier League.rnParticipants from the seven clubs were selected using simple random method and asked to fill arnsemi-structured questionnaire and the questionnaires were collected from the respondents. Semistructuredrninterview was also carried out with each club administrators to assess the structurernand the professionalsâ€™ composition of the clubs. The total number of respondent participated inrnthe questionnaires part are 70 from seven different sport clubs. In each sport club in minimumrnseven and maximum of twelve respondents are participated.rnData collected were described and analyzed on the basis of qualitative and quantitative methods.rnAnd, this study concluded by finding out the following findings:-There is a Lack of and a Needrnfor FIFA standard club management and services in the sport clubs, There is a Lack of and arnNeed best communication system in the sport clubs, There is a Lack of and a Need goodrnmarketing and financial control system in the sport clubs, There is a Lack of and Need good andrnstandardized facilities in the sport clubs and There is a Lack of and a Need of best youthrndevelopment strategy in the sport clubs of Ethiopian premier league
