Practices And Challenges Of Physical Education Teachers In Teaching-learning Process In Case Of Some Selected High Schools Of Addis Ababa

The study aimed at identifying the challenges of teacher and suggestsrnpotential solutions to the challenges. Three basic questions werernraised to achieve the objectives of the study. To answer those basicrnresearch questions, descriptive survey research method was employed.rnTeachers, internal and external supervisors, school administrators,rneducation experts and students are participants of this study. Thernschool and the participant were selected by purposive and randomrnsampling method. All the remaining samples are all are selectedrnbecause their numbers are small so there are purposes full for thernrelevancy to get important information about study. The study foundrnthe challenge related with teacher (personal) and related with thernadministrator. Those factors are large class size, time management,rnlack of material, lack of skill attitude, experience etc. for furtherrnimprovement of teaching effectiveness those challenges must avoidrnand suggested as potential solutions to the proper implementation ofrneffective teaching of Physical education.rnKey words: physical education, Effective teaching-learning process,rnadministration, curriculum implementation, challenges
