Concrete shell roofs have been widely used in the construction field for reasonsrnconcerning aesthetic appearance or achieving an economical design of a building withrnlarge spans. This paper deals with the influence of aspect ratio and height to miner radiusrnon the structural forces and the moments developed on the surface of elliptical shellrnroofs. The parameters considered in this study are major to miner radius ratio and heightrnto miner radius ratio of elliptical shell roof. This thesis studies the parametric influencesrnof aspect ratio and height to miner radius ratio on elliptical shell roofs. The influences ofrnaspect ratio and height to miner radius should be considered in the analysis and design ofrnthe elliptical shell roof using both membrane and bending theory analysis. The structuralrnforces and the moments developed in elliptical shell roof are predicted usingrnmathematical method and the model proposed by ANSYS software. rnAs the height ratio increases, the in-plane forces linearly increase while the momentrnforces decrease in a quadratic fashion. Therefore, it is noted that the aspect and heightrnratios greatly affect the moment and in-plane forces, respectively.

Subsurface Intelligence & Critical Mineral Exploration

Modern Geology projects now focus on Machine Learning in Mineral Targeting, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Geologic Modeling, and Critical Mineral Systems (Lithium, REEs). If your research involves Hydrogeological Connectivity, Seismic Inversion, or Geotechnical Site Characterization, ensure your analysis follows the JORC or NI 43-101 reporting standards and utilizes robust 3D Subsurface Visualization and Geochemical Fingerprinting frameworks.
