This study aims at investigating if there is any relationship between students'rnperception of written feedback that teachers provide for writing tasks arid theirrnactual writing proficiency. And the study also aims at finding out how studentsrnuse the written feedback provided by teachers for writing tasks. To achieve thernobjectives set, necessary data were collected through questionnaire and writingrnskills test, which were given to 90 students. Data about perception of studentsrnand some other related issues were collected through the questionnaire. Throughrnthe writing skills test, the subjects' actual writing proficiency was obtained. Thernstudents' perception about written feedback is found to have substantialrncorrelation (0.78) with their actual writing skills. The data obtained from thernquestionnaire also revealed that students did not show any interest to readrnteachers' feedback for their writing tasks.
