The main objective of this study is to investigate major factors affecting the quality of TVETrnprogram. The study was aimed at some aspects the quality of the program at input and processrnlevel. Descriptive survey method was employed to carry out the study. Four TVET institutesrnnamely Soddo, Hawwasa, Ambo and Nekampte were selected from Oromia and SNNP regionsrnpurposely and the top managements, instructors and students of each institute were selected byrnstratified sampling techniques. The study was carried out by employing closed-endedrnquestionnaires addressing issues related to input and process aspects of the program. In thisrncase, institutional managements, educational facilities, streaming process of students to TVETrnprogram, the teaching- learning process and students ' performance evaluation, competences ofrninstructors and students; and institutional quality assurances practices were the major studyrnarea thoroughly emphasized. These variables were analyzed with ANOVA, t-test and chi-squarerntests. The results of the study indicate that lack of relevant training facilities and the poorrnquality of students joining TVET are the most significant factors affecting the quality of program.rnInstructors ' incompetence 's, lack of policy and associate procedures, institutional managementrnincompetence are considered as moderately affecting the quality of TVET program
