This study was conducted on 210 (205 in the quantitative part and 5 inrnthe qualitative one) women who had induced abortion after 20 days werernasked. Its major purpose was to asses the psychosocial problems ofrninduced abortion on study participants and the factors contributing to it.rnTo this effect, a structured questionnaire was prepared and asked for thern205rnwomen.rnquestionnaire,rnTornsupplementrnthernquantitativerninterview was held with 5rndatarnwomen,rngatheredrnvzarnwho were notrnparticipated in the questionnaire.rnThe quantitative data w e re analyzed using frequency, percentage andrnOdds Ratio. The information obtained from interview was als o summarizedrnqualitatively. The result revealed prevalence of psychosocial problems ofrninduced abortion. Odds R atio also showed age, marital status, andrnnumbers of abortion were significant with both psychological and socialrnproblems of induced abortion on women.rnOn the other hand, educational status did not show significant associationwith both psychological and social problems of induced abortion onrnwomen. Whereas some factors like women's belief and attitude andrndecision problems were significant with social problems of inducedrnabortion.
