Job Satisfaction Of Academic And Administrative Staff The Case Of Assosa Technical And Vocational Education Training College

The main purpose of this study was to assess the job satisfaction of academicrnand administrative staff of Assosa TVET College. To realize this, the researcherrnhas carried out a brief review of related literature to prior relevant works. Thernstudy focused on case with in the college, what makes the staff dissatisfied,rnmurmur, and high tum over. To get deep information the researcher has usedrndescriptive method. The instruments and procedures of data collection werernquestionnaires, interviews and observation. The researcher also try to used asrnsecondary source of data the temperature records of the mentioned area to knowrnthe reason that made them dissatisfied. Then, the staff can be categorized in tornthree, the Dean, the academic and the supportive staff stratified samplingrnmethod is used for 12 departments which have 53 members in them out of thesern40% of them or 23 samples selected and ~ut of 37 members of supportive staffrn10 of them were selected using judgmental sampling. The study reveals that thernstaff of the college was dissatisfied with their job, causes being frustration,rnturnover and therefore try to search for other organization. Based on thesernfindings recommendation were for warded.
