The major objective of the present study was to examll1e if there was significantrnrel ationship among female adolescents sexual practices and their involvement in actualrnri sky behavioral practices in two secondary schools in Adama. The study explored thernawareness of the female adolescents about menarche, attitudes of female adolescentsrntowards menarche and sexual practices. It also examined peer influence in relation tornsexual practices, and ri sky sexual practices, and parent and femal e adol escent relationshiprnwith regard to sexual practices.rnAnalysis of the data was made using quantitative and qualitative methods. Results of thernstudy revealed that age showed significant relationship in the femal e-parent, peer, andrnmate relationship on sexual practices. However, rural-urban residence did no! havernshown any of the relationships mentioned. Hence, the study shows the importance of agebasedrninformation for the healthy growth and development of the female adolescents.
