The Psychosocial Adjustment Of Potters Children The Case Of Hadiya Zone

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the psychosocial adjustment of potters' childrenrnin Abuna governmental elementary school in Hadiya zone. To get data from the two groups 75rnparticipants were chosen i.e. 30 potters' and 30 non-potters' chi ldren (from grade 5th to 8trn sevenrnschool teachers, the school director and seven key informants (from 30-60 and 61-75 yea rs old.)rnThe participants were select ed with purposive, conven ient and snowball sampling procedure. Inrnthe meantime, students' first semester Class Average Points (GPA) was obtained from the recordrnoffice. Then both qualitative and quantitative data were collected through questionnaire,rninterview and FGD instruments. The data obtained through the three sca les (self-esteem,rndepression and lon eliness) were mainly analyzed by mean using t-test.
