The main objective of this study was to evaluate the contents and intents ofrnGrade 10 mathematics in Addis Ababa City Administration. In order to evaluaternthe contents organization (Coverage, integration and Sequence) in the syllabusrnand textbook, both quantitative and qualitative data were collected throughrncontent analysis and interview. Similarly, the evaluation of the intents wererndone by quantitative data collecting instruments (questionnaires) from 32rnteachers and 224 students from the schools under study. Moreover, the datarngathered from syllabus, textbook teachers and students were analyzedrnquantitatively. Besides, the data gathered through interview and documentsrnwere analyzed qualitatively. The result showed that the coverage of objectivesrn(KAS), the integration and sequence of contents were not adequately treated inrnthe communication materials to bring maximum learning on students.
