Epidemiological Models Applied To Viruses In Computer Network

The computer viruses is a serious problem to individual and corporativerncomputer systems, a lot of effort has been dedicated to study how to avoid theirrndeleterious actions, trying to create anti-virus programs acting as vaccines inrnpersonal computers or in strategic network nodes. Another way to combat virusrnpropagation is to establish preventive policies based on the whole operation of arnsystem that can be modeled with population models, similar to those that arernused in epidemiological studies.rnThis paper introduced the SAI1I2R model based on the epidemiological study.rnThe equilibrium points (virus-free and endemic), stability, basic reproductionrnnumbers (R0), quantitative and qualitative analysis are calculated and somernnumerical experiments are shown.rnThis model enabled us to understand better the dynamics nature of computerrnvirus and the epidemiological models bring new hope for solving the computerrnvirus problems.
