Thernother two naphthoquinones have not yet been structurallyrnelucidated, The two triterpenes are lupeol (T-i) andrnunidentified triterpene (T-3),rnThe extract from the stem-bark of g. schimperirnyielded isodiospyrin (N-7), lupeol (T-i), and anotherrnunchar'lcterized triterpene (T-2).rnFrom previous phytochemical reports it appears thatrnout of the known naphthoquinones isolated neodiospyrinrn(N-2) and 2-methylnaphthozarin (N-3) have not been reportedrnbefore from any part of the plant. Furthermore,rnthe occurrence of naodiospyrin (N-2) from the genusrnEuclea is reported here for the first time
