Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers are service providers who deal with logistics solutionsrnto ensure effective and efficient performance of humanitarian logistics management. Thisrnstudy seeks to establish the determinates of humanitarian logistics performance in case ofrnAHADA at Dollo Ado humanitarian operation. The study adopted explanatory andrndescriptive research design and utilized both primary and secondary data. Data wasrnprocessed using descriptive and inferential statistics where SPSS version 20 was used forrndata processing to establish the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. Asrna result, the study found that there is a positive and significant relationship betweenrncoordination (.821), availability of fund (.793), competency (.894) and collaboration (.876)rnand performance at significant at the 0.01 level (2-tailed) using correlation analysis. Inrnaddition, coordination (.003), availability of fund (.003), competency (.0001) andrncollaboration (.01) have a statistically significant contribution to the prediction of the 3PLrnperformance using regression analysis. Further, 3PL service provider performance highlyrnlinked with warehouse, inventory, fleet, supply distribution, and maintenance managementrnand all are well monitored and better control system have been implemented accurately.rnCompanies outsource the services of 3PL for many reasons including; to gain access bestrnpractices, to improve service quality, to control logistics cost, to increase speed, to properlyrnmanage its resources, to spread its risks and to focus on issues that are very much crucial torntheir existence and future growth. Cost, lead-time, service quality and risk assessment arernvital to enhance 3PL service providers performance.
