Explicit Finite Difference Scheme For The Finite String

This project provides a practical overview of numerical solutions to the wavernequation of finite string using the finite difference method. The second or-rnder centered differences for time and space is applied to a simple problemrninvolving the one-dimensional wave equation of finite string which lead tornan explicit numerical scheme. It also allow the reader to experiment withrnthe consistency, stability and convergency of explicit finite difference schemernfor finite string and an example with working Matlab code for the scheme isrnpresented.
