The purpose of the study was to assess the degree of transformational leadershiprnpracticed by Ethiopian Airline's, with emphasis at top and middle level management.rnSubordinates' perception of their superiors leadership qualities are used to explorernthe state of transformational leadership practice.rnQuestionnaires were distributed to 64 Managers, 24 Directors, and 6 Vice Presidents ofrnEthiopian Airlines. The responses were analyzed using SPSS under four categoriesrnbased on the four qualities of transformational leadership: Idealized Influence,rnInspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation and Individualized consideration .rnThe research found out that transformational leadership qualities are not wellrndeveloped in Ethiopian Airlines.
