Background: - Evaluation of body temperature is one of the oldest known diagnostic methodsrnand still an important sign of health and disease. Since rectal and oral temperature measurementrnare uncomfortable, less hygienic and unacceptable in many cultures; axillary has been method ofrnchoice in many countries like Ethiopia.
