The analysis of two channel sequential nitrogen laser circuit is developed and scalingrnparameters are identi ed with Fortran.f90 programing so as to enable a study of the laserrnover its range of discharge modes. Results are presented for critically damped laser gaprncase and for the more typical case of critically damping factor 0.4. The analysis showsrnin a typical nitrogen laser the rate of rise of the laser gap voltage dVgrndt prior to laser gaprnbreakdown is 0.5kv/ns and such a dVgrndt is required for a uniform breakdown across thernlaser gap for a good lasing action by comparing two channels. For e ectively criticallyrndamping factor at effL = 0.4 the normalized power absorption is increased from 0.00005rnto 0.00015 for the rst channel.For the second channel it increases from 0.005 to 0.017 atrnsimilar damping factor
