In this study, the more emphasis is given to compound nucleus decay. To test this,rncalculations of the theoretical reaction cross sections of 85Rb( ; n)88Y , 85Rb( ; 2n)87Y ,rn85Rb( ; 3n)86Y and composition reaction of 85Rb( ; n) and 87Rb( ; 3n) reactions are car-rnried out in the incident alpha energy from 15 MeV to 60 MeV. Theoretical calcula-rntions of reaction cross sections are done using Alice-91 computer code, which is based onrnWeisskopf-Ewing model for compound nucleus decay and Geometry Dependent Hybridrn(GDH) model for pre-compound nuclear reactions. The calculated results are comparedrnwith experimental one and various parameters were changed to see their e ects on thernreaction cross sections
