The Research attempted to identify the impact of public procurement practice onrnconstriction of condominium housing, to asses if procurement planning affectsrnimplementation of public projects, to find out if choice of procurement methods andrnprocedures influences public projects implementation, to evaluate if contractrnmanagement and control influence public projects, to determine if public procurementrndirective affects project implementation. Ethiopia as one of the poor countries is doing tornensure the fulfillment of basic needs for the citizens is striving to insure sustainablerndevelopment. Hence, the current regime, EPRDF, by realizing decent shelter is the keyrnto become a human being, it has lunched Integrated Housing Development Programmern(IHDP)was launched in 2004 (1996 in the Ethiopian calendar) . Various strategies andrnprograms are introduced and implemented at different periodical intervals with thernprimary objective of housing problem.rnIt was therefore, necessary to examine the impact of current public procurementrnpractice on constriction of condominium housing, procurement planning, procurementrnmethod, procurement contract administration and the procurement policy.rnTo achieve the above objective, the study depended on both primary and secondaryrninformation and data collected form target population. It was find public procurementrnpractice have a great large position in any case of success or failure.rnIt was also realized that procurement planning, procurement methods and procedures,rncontract administration and procurement directives affect project implementation, sincernmaterials are the live hood of construction.rnTherefore, it was concluded that public procurement practice has a great impact on therncompletion of public projects as per the initial plan
