Background: Provision of quality maternal health services has a paramount contribution forrnimproving service uptake and reduction of maternal death. Mistreatment during child birthrnthat affects women‘s interest towards health service utilisation . Yet, there is paucity ofrnevidence about the magnitude of various forms of mistreatments mother‘s experience duringrnfacility based childbirth. rnObjectives: This study aims to assess women‘s experience of mistreatment during facilityrnbased child birth and its associated factor in Hosanna town and its surrounding kebeles, southrnEthiopia, 2019.rnMethod:-Community based cross sectional study was employed from March to April 2019 inrnHosanna town, South Ethiopia .Mothers who gave birth two week prior to the study periodrnwere selected through systematic random sampling technique from the recorded contactrnaddress of the delivered mothers. Binary and multivariate logistic regression model was usedrnto assess mother‘s experiences of mistreatment using certain predictors.
