Performance Evaluation Of Addis Ababa City Road Network

The specific objective of this study was to determine evaluation of road networkrnperformance using indicators such as road availability, road performance, trafficrnload, road serviceability, connectivity and safety for sub cities/networks in AddisrnAbaba and to make recommendations for policy makers to improve performance ofrnroad networks based on the outcome of the study.rnThese objectives were addressed by detail review of literatures about the subjectrnmatter and also by collecting relevant data which used for computation of thernperformance evaluation indicators in the results and discussion part. The trendrnchange for some years for this performance indicators for the city is also assessed.rnIn conclusion it is mentioned that currently the construction of new roads andrnmaintaining the existing ones is increasing throughout years us we observe from thernresult but it needs more effort and successive evaluation of the road networkrnperformance to gain a good road network in the city.
