The purpose of this study was to assess the challenges of the development of youth handballrnclub: focusing on some selected weredas handball club in wolaytta zone S.N.N P.R.To realizernthis purposes,five basic questions regarding the assistance given to coaches,coachesrnattitudestowards the program,why and how coaches practice the program,the effects of thernprogram on the daily activities of trainee and challenges affecting the effective implementationrnof the program were asked.To address these questions, the descriptive survey methods wasrnemployed.The subject in this study were 45(18.66%) trainee 2(40%) coaches of the respectivernfield 4(100%) of sport office leaders and 2(100%) school directors selected from the totalrnpopulation of 249(100%). .As a method of data gathering tools questionnaire, interview,rnobservational checklist analysis were employed. To analysis the collected data both quantitativernand qualitative methods such as descriptive statement and frequency counts, and percentagernwere on use respectively.The quantitative data were first edited,organized and tabulated andrnthen analyzed by using frequency and percentage.The qualitative data were analyzed as theyrnwere understood by the researcher.The result of data analysis and interpretation indicated thatrnthe support given to coaches and trainee of handball clubs of twoweredas was low.The majorrnconstraints associated with lack of coaches qualification, lack of adequate facilities, lack ofrnknowledge of handball game and trainees problem were found through the clubs. To overcomernthis problems, the following recommendations have been forwarded .This are working with allrnstakeholders as to solve the problems of facilities,working with sport offices leaders, find fundrnand communicate with trainees family, on require bases on job training should be offered forrncoach, once equipment as well as qualified man power and the clubs should open its door forrnindividuals and clubs with responsible cost to develop the club.rnKey Terms:Handball, Handball Club, Challenges, Development, Training Methods, CoachingrnApproaches, Training Equipment, Proper Facilities, Effective Implementation
