The objective of this study was to identifyrnand study the effect of socio demographic factors that are likely to affect place ofrndelivery care utilization in Ethiopia. The data used for the study were obtainedrnfrom the 2011 Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey (EDHS), a nationallyrnrepresentative survey of ever married women 15 to 49 years of age. In order tornassess the relationship of social, economic and demographic factors on place ofrndelivery care utilization. The study used logistic regression analysis. Odd ratiornprovides a meaningful way of interpreting the relationship between thernindependent variables and utilization of place of delivery care. Results of anrnestimated odds ratio of 1 indicate that the use of place of delivery care utilization isrnno different from the relationship in the reference category.
