What I Noticed About The Ladies In My University Class

What I Noticed About The Ladies In My University Class

Let me tell you something I noticed back in university — and I’m sure a lot of guys will relate.

When we first gained admission and resumed classes, everyone was full of excitement and hope. We wanted to study hard, get good grades, and, for some of us, maybe even find love.

Me? I had this innocent dream. I promised myself that I’d find my first serious girlfriend in 100 level. My plan was simple — we’d grow together through the years, graduate together, and maybe, if everything worked out, get married someday.

Yeah, I know. I was young and a bit naïve.

But reality hit fast. Most of the girls in 100 level weren’t interested in guys like us. While we were busy chasing grades and daydreaming about love, their attention was elsewhere — on the senior guys in 300 and 400 level.

These were the same senior men we, as freshers, looked up to and respected. Yet, these girls called them “baby” and followed them around campus like they were celebrities.

It was frustrating. You’d spend time talking to a girl, feeling like you both had a connection, and then the next day she’d be gone. Not because you messed up — but because some senior guy had just asked her out.

Fast-forward six years. We’re now in 400 level, the “big boys” on campus. And guess what? The same girls who once ignored us are suddenly showing interest.

It’s funny when you think about it. The same people who couldn’t even look your way back then are now trying to hang around you, start conversations, and act all friendly.

But truth be told, I’m not interested anymore. Every year, new students come in — fresher girls who are vibrant, cheerful, and less demanding. So why would I settle for someone who once looked down on me and now wants something serious?

And when I think about it, this isn’t just a campus thing — it happens in real life too.

When they’re younger, many girls chase older, more established men, ignoring the guys their age. But time moves fast. Those same “young” guys eventually grow, mature, and start doing well for themselves. By then, the tables turn — and suddenly, the same women who once overlooked them start showing interest again.

But by that time… there are new, younger ladies around. And the cycle continues.

Moral of the story: Life has a funny way of balancing things. Sometimes, who you overlook today might just be the one shining tomorrow.
