The purpose of this study was to investigate the community participation inrnprimary school curriculum implementation by examining the school's initiativesrnand commilm nts, the level of community participation in school managementrnand fulfilling infrastructure; In addition to these, it was aimed at identifyingrnfactors thal in!lucnce community participation, and Lo come out with solutions.rnThe mcthod uscd in this study was a mixed method approach and data wererncollected through questionnaires, intervicws and document sources. Datarnthrough questionnaires were collected from teachers and students, and therninterview data were collected from the principals, PTA members and parents inrnthe school, that is Megabit 18 Elementary School.rnThe findings indicated that community participation in primary schoolrncurriculum implementation in Megabit 18 Elementary school is bounded byrnmoney contribution for building construction and PTA members participation inrnmonitoring financial resources distribution effectively. But the participation ofrnparents in school-parent relations, parent-teacher cooperation, and parentsrninvolvement in the children's education in School is unsatisfactory. Parentsrnsupport their children in education privately at home. The low parentrninvolvement in primary school curriculum implementation was found to be duernto lack of adequate training from the side of prilcipals, lack of training andrnawareness of lhe teachers and parents.rn,rnTo enhance community participation in primary school curriculumrnimplementation, the school has to take part the new education !I.-eform program,rn-that is community participation in school improvement program and generalrnt educational leadership,' management and organization improvement program
