This thesis is dedicated to my late brother Abiyot Abera who passed away whilernattending the same Masters program with me in the same class room in 2013. Myrnbrother how do I say goodbye to a brother that I love as much as you? I still cannotrnbelieve you're gone I'm still hoping it isn't true wishing this heartache was just arndream from which I'd wake up and find you still here, in life, with us Or ifrnnot...somehow time we could rewind. Abi there's almost no one who shared asrnmuch of my life who knows me as well as you. I often think upon the memories wernshared when we were very young you teased me, played with me and laughed withrnme when our lives had just begun. I also dedicate this thesis to my father, dear dad,rnI would like to THANK YOU for all the things you have done for me since day one. YOLIrnwere always there when there was a problem. You nursed me, raised me, educated me andrnloved me as much as you were able to with everything that you have been throughout thernyears, you have made it through.
