Anrnestimated 1.3 million adolescent girls and 780,000 adolescent boys are living with HIVrnworldwide, and 79 percent of new HIV infections among adolescents are in Sub-Saharan Africa.rnWith 104 births per 1,000 women aged 15-19, Ethiopia’s high adolescent birth rate was likelyrnassociated with the low use of modern contraceptives.
