Queen Mary University of London Global Talent Scholarship 2027 in the UK: Up to £20,000 for International Undergraduates — No Separate Application
Securing a Fully Funded Scholarship is only the first step. Many Nigerian students are now utilizing No-Cosigner Student Loans through providers like MPOWER Financing and Prodigy Finance to cover living expenses in the USA, Canada, and the UK.
If you are applying to Ivy League or Russell Group Universities, look for programs offering Graduate Assistantships. Many top-tier universities are currently granting GRE and GMAT Waivers for African applicants with strong professional backgrounds or high GPAs from recognized institutions.
For Canada and the US, a WES Course-by-Course Evaluation is often mandatory. Additionally, if your degree was taught in English, you may qualify for an IELTS/TOEFL Waiver, saving you significant costs during the Graduate Admissions process.
If you are aiming for an undergraduate degree in London in September 2027 and your grades are stronger than your offer requires, Queen Mary University of London's Global Talent Scholarship is worth a close look — because there is no separate scholarship form to complete. Eligible international offer holders are assessed automatically, and the award is worth £5,000 per academic year, up to £20,000 over a standard four-year degree.
Key facts at a glance
What the scholarship covers
The Global Talent Scholarship is a tuition fee discount of £5,000 per academic year for highly qualified international undergraduate offer holders joining Queen Mary in September 2027. The first £5,000 is deducted from your tuition fees when you enrol in your first year, and the award is renewable each year, subject to achieving an average of 65% or above in your academic results.
Queen Mary's Admissions Office makes scholarship offers at the point of offer, and recipients are notified through their applicant portal. The scholarship is confirmed when your admissions status is "unconditional firm" and you enrol at Queen Mary. You must be able to finance the remainder of your tuition fees and living expenses, as the award is deducted directly from tuition fees payable to the university.

Important deadline reminder
There is no separate Global Talent Scholarship deadline — Queen Mary's official page lists the deadline as N/A. Do not miss the admission route, though: for most undergraduate courses, the UCAS equal-consideration deadline is 13 January 2027 at 18:00 UK time. After that date, universities are not required to give applications equal consideration, so treat 13 January as the date that matters.
