The synthesis of titanium molybdophosphate ( TMP), lead vanadophosphate (rnLVP) and lead selenophosphate (LSP) are reported. The chemical composition, IRrnspectrum, hydrogen ion liberation capacity and pH titration curve for each exchangerrnhave been studied .rnAs the investigation of the catalytic nature of synthetic inorganic polymers werernthe core objective of this project, catalytic application of TMP and LVP as a supportrnhave been studied after loading Fe+ 3 on each, in dehydration of cyclohexanol andrnhydration of cyclohexene . From GC analysis both Fe+3/TMP and Fe+3/LVP was foundrnto be efficient in dehydrating cyclohexanol but not the opposite reaction. 81 % and 38 %rnconversion have been achieved for each catalyst Respectively with in four hour refluxing.rnUsing retention time coincidence test and peak enhancement technique the only reactionrnproduct was identified to be cyclohexene.
